POSTURAL AND MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT & DIAGNOSIS

I will hear your story and take a detailed history of your concerns.

I will examine your child's movement difficulties within the framework recommended by the Canadian (CPA) & American Physical Therapy Associations (APTA).

I will use standardized tests to determine the extent of your child's difficulties in relation to their peers.
TREATMENT & THERAPY

We will develop the goals and treatment plan together, to respond to your concerns for your infant or child.

I will suggest developmentally appropriate services tailor made to your needs for your infant or child.

We will follow treatment ideas, as determined by "Best Practice" in the physiotherapy national organizations.

We will watch your infant or child's progress together
and update goals & revise the treatment plan.

Physiotherapy services will happen where you want them: at home, in daycare or on the playground.

Your child will be discharged when your child no longer needs services.
COMMUNICATION

Regular communication with your doctors (paediatrician, neurology, orthopaedics etc).

Linkages with other rehabilitation professionals as needed (OT, PT, Speech, Psychology, Orthotist)
